18th August 2011 Planning Meeting
The planning Committee sat today and deferred the demolition and planning permission. The reason given was to allow officers to compile reports with regards to the Heritage aspects and if they believe it reasonable to use Article4(1) Direction. This Article can be used to stop any demolition or building being under taken. The committee will debate this on Thursday 25th August. This is the site visit, the day before the planning committee meeting, let's keep our fingers crossed for good new's.
Pictures of Folsana Protest
These are picture's of The Greenwood Six!!!! We had a police escort just in case we had our protest hi-jacked. Two police in an un-marked car and two on bycycles, we are certainly ruffling feathers somewhere. Planning committee site visit on 17/08/11 let's see what happens.
